Glenmac is a 4000 acre hll country farm situated in the scenic Waitaki Valley (inland from Oamaru and near to Kurow). A working farm running Merino sheep and beef cattle. Farm activities are seasonal. Available either on farm or nearby - Horse riding/trekking, four wheel drive farm tour, golf, fishing (guide available), tramping, winery visit, fossil trail and centre, Duntroon wetlands and more. Near to lakes and rivers and on the Alps to Ocean cycle trail. Wonderful opportunities for photographers and artists to capture some of the country scenes. Accomnmodation can be in the farmhouse or Shearers Quarters. Farmhouse accommodation has five rooms with either ensuite and shared bathroom with all meals available. Shearers Quarters provides accommodation which can be either fully catered or self contained. All accommodation has comfortable beds, electric blankets, heaters in rooms. We can cater for groups of up to 20 using all accommodation. Lunches available for tour groups. Home cooked meals. Friendly country hospitality.
